Inviting Team Members
Add colleagues to your TrussNote organization so your whole team can collaborate on projects.
TrussNote is built for teams. You can invite as many colleagues as your plan allows, and everyone shares the organization's credit pool.
How to invite a team member
- Click your name or avatar in the top right corner of the app
- Select Team members from the dropdown
- Click Invite member
- Enter the colleague's email address
- Select their role (Member or Admin)
- Click Send invite
Your colleague will receive an email with a link to accept the invitation. They will be prompted to create a password and set up their profile. Invited users are automatically approved and do not go through the standard approval process.
Member roles

| Member | Access to all AI tools and their own reports |
What happens after the invite is sent
The invited user receives an email with a secure link valid for 7 days. Once they click the link and complete setup, they appear in your team list as active.
If the link expires before they accept, you can resend the invitation from the Team Members page by clicking the three-dot menu next to their pending entry.
Credit usage per member
Each member in your organization draws from the shared credit pool. Admins can see a breakdown of credit usage per member from the Billing page.
Depending on your plan, you may also be able to set individual credit limits per member to prevent any single user from consuming too large a share of the pool.
Removing a team member
To remove someone from your organization:
- Go to Settings > Team members
- Find the member you want to remove
- Click the three-dot menu next to their name
- Select Remove from organization
Removed members immediately lose access. Their previously generated reports remain in the organization and are not deleted.
Frequently asked questions
Can I change a member's role after inviting them? Yes. Go to Team Members, click the three-dot menu next to their name, and select Change role.
Does inviting team members cost extra? No. There is no per-seat charge. Your plan includes a defined credit pool shared across your whole team.
Can a member belong to multiple organizations? Not currently. Each account is tied to one organization at a time.
