How to Get Approved
Learn how the TrussNote account approval process works and what to expect after signing up.
TrussNote uses a manual approval process to ensure every user is a genuine AEC professional. This keeps the platform focused, secure, and high quality for everyone.
What happens after you sign up
After creating your account, you will see a confirmation screen explaining that your application is under review. You will also receive an email confirming we received your request.
Our team reviews every application individually. We look at the information you provided during sign-up, including your firm name, role, and intended use case.
How long does approval take
Most applications are reviewed within 1 business day. During busy periods it may take up to 2 business days. You do not need to contact us to follow up unless you have not heard back after 3 business days.
What makes a strong application
Applications are approved faster when they include clear, specific information:
- Use a professional email address that matches your firm domain
- Describe your actual use case in the "How will you use TrussNote" field
- Include your firm name and location accurately
Applications with generic or incomplete information may take longer to review.
What happens when you are approved
You will receive an approval email with a link to sign in. Click the link, sign in with the email and password you used when you applied, and you will be taken directly into the platform.
From there you can create your organization, invite team members, and start using the tools immediately.
What if your application is rejected
If your application does not meet our criteria, you will receive a rejection email explaining why. Common reasons include:
- The email domain could not be verified as a professional firm
- The use case description did not match AEC industry work
- Duplicate application detected
If you believe the rejection was an error, reply to the rejection email with additional context about your firm and we will reconsider.

If you have not received any email within 2 business days, check your spam folder first. If you still cannot find it, contact us at support@trussnote.com with your registered email address.
