Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of TrussNote's platform and services by all users. By accessing or using TrussNote, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2. Permitted uses

TrussNote is designed for construction, architecture, and engineering professionals. Permitted uses include:

Creating and managing construction project documentation. Generating AI-assisted proposals, reports, and analyses for your own projects or those of clients you represent. Uploading project files, drawings, and documents relevant to your professional work. Collaborating with authorized team members within your organization.

3. Prohibited content

You must not upload, generate, or transmit content that:

Is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. Infringes any intellectual property, privacy, or other third-party rights. Contains malware, viruses, or any code designed to damage, intercept, or disrupt systems. Constitutes unsolicited commercial communications (spam). Misrepresents your identity, professional credentials, or affiliation.

You must not use TrussNote to produce or distribute inaccurate structural calculations, permit applications, or compliance certifications that could cause harm to persons or property.

4. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to TrussNote systems, other user accounts, or third-party systems connected to the platform. Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract source code from TrussNote. Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the platform through automated means without prior written authorization. Benchmark TrussNote and publish results without prior written authorization. Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the platform. Use the platform in a way that places unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure.

5. Professional responsibility

TrussNote provides AI-assisted tools to support professional decision-making. AI-generated output must be reviewed and verified by a qualified licensed professional before use in any official submission, permit application, or client deliverable.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and fitness-for-purpose of any deliverables produced using TrussNote. TrussNote does not assume professional liability for AI-generated content.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create in TrussNote. By uploading content, you grant TrussNote a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you.

You must not upload content that you do not have the right to use. If you believe any content on TrussNote infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us at info@trussnote.com.

7. Data accuracy and integrity

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you input into TrussNote. Do not input false project information, fabricated addresses, or misleading data with the intent of generating inaccurate professional documents.

TrussNote reserves the right to remove content that it reasonably believes to be false, harmful, or in violation of this AUP.

8. Reporting violations

If you become aware of a violation of this AUP by another user, please report it to info@trussnote.com. We will investigate all reported violations and take appropriate action, which may include account suspension, content removal, or reporting to law enforcement.

9. Enforcement

TrussNote reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP and to take any action we deem appropriate, including issuing a warning, suspending or terminating your account, or reporting conduct to law enforcement.

We may act without prior notice if we reasonably believe that your use poses a risk of harm to TrussNote, its users, third parties, or the public.

10. Changes to this policy

TrussNote may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
